    Packer keeps dragging his butt on the concrete outside and on my rug inside ,he gets a probiotic daily ,switched foods from Fromm to Hills ,ear infections stopped but scooted on the Fromm too ,he has solid stools daily

    His anal glands made need emptying. Vet can do this for you.

    They say that having the glands drained is not good for your puppy and it should happen naturally when they go to the bathroom

    Absolutely, Julian, but sometimes there is a blockage. Worth getting the vet to check.

    He is uncomfortable so you should get it checked for advice on how to stop it.
    Mine used to leak anal fluid occasionally which stoped when I switched him to raw( not for that reason) They produce much harder poo which I believe helps the gland to empty naturally.
