my bitch is in season she is 9 months old i have not had a bitch for years and am not sure of all the signs she does not seem to have blood more like coulered watery discharge today looks milky white 12th day today
Re: season This is quite normal , its the dangerous time as many owners think " No blood, no season " . Quite often, the blood will stop , the discharge being as you describe and then the bleeding comes back for the last week or with some, the bleeding doesnt return . Best err to caution and count 26/28 days from when you first noticed the bleed .
Re: season Yes definately keep her in still. This is most likely the stage where she is ovulating - the bleeding stops and discharge goes more clear, so she is at her most fertile! Count 28 days from the first day she started bleeding to estimate the end of her season.
