Re: Sleeping on the bed... Ha ha, just seen this on FB made me giggle! ;D Maisie starts off in her bed, tries to get on my bed at about 3am, but by 5am has somehow snuck her way up the bed and is stretched out between us hogging the duvet! :
Re: Sleeping on the bed... Mine are not allowed upstairs - I'm too light a sleeper, the slightest sound wakes me up!
Re: Sleeping on the bed... We've not yet reached the 6-month mark, but we're still adamant they'll always sleep in the living room and not with us. We'll see :
Re: Sleeping on the bed... We live in a bungalow, so its not easy : : I don't object in principal, but sorry Sam , you are just too big
Re: Sleeping on the bed... Haha Kate. Nice excuse, but we're in an apartment. We still have a few doors, y'know

Re: Sleeping on the bed... That cartoon strip was us a year ago ;D ;D at 4.5 months old, she was upstairs - initially on her bed, but we don't bother taking it up now as she is always on our bed, hogging the quilt in between us I wouldn't change it though
Re: Sleeping on the bed... Nearly a year old and we're still holding the line of 'no upstairs'. It is the only rule we've not broken...
Re: Sleeping on the bed... Sometimes.. if I am up really, really early and the boys are very, very good...I let them sneak in the bedroom to wake up Mr Beanwood....the dogs think that is the best game...Mr Beanwood is not so sure..

We'll see : [/quote] Yep,me too and I held out to 20 months ....then he was allowed up at weekends...he's been upstairs all week this week ...but he has had sore ears ;D....it's not me you know,it's the other big softie that lives with Dexter and I!!!!!
Re: Sleeping on the bed... We're adamant too. We've simply failed to convince Holly of our determination.
Re: Sleeping on the bed... We are both still of the united opinion that Bob will sleep downstairs in the kitchen/dining room. Eventually he will be de-crated and he can sleep on the sofa down there. But he will not be allowed upstairs to the bedroom. We live in a 4 storey town house and Bob is allowed upstairs to the lounge/TV room with us in the evenings only but the rest of the time he will stay downstairs in the kitchen/dining room. I can't see us changing our minds on this but only time will tell I guess!
