Out walking this evening and Lady let out a loud yelp. I think she'd trodden on a bramble or something. Well I looked at her and said something like oh dear poor Lady. Up she comes, ears back, head looking pathetic and holds her front paw out. So I checked it out for cuts or something stuck between the pads and found nothing. So gave her a pat and said ok off you pop. And she did as happy as Larry now that I'd checked her out. Just like my grandson or daughter after a bump. LoL ;D
Re: Small Black Dog Gets Pricked Paw Bless her She is maybe remembering the last time she had a sore paw ;D

Re: Small Black Dog Gets Pricked Paw Well we've just been out together gardening (dog and me not grandson). Lady now basking in the sun after searching the garden for foxes (large smelly presents left all over back lawn). I'm having a coffee. My knees kill me these days so I have to do heavy stuff in shortish shifts. ;D

Re: Small Black Dog Gets Pricked Paw Right! Just put a length of roofing felt on the shed roof just before it started to rain. Got the rest of the roof to do but it's still got old felt on it. Time for a cuppa tea and rest the knees again. ;D
