Our daycare has started selling 'Snuffle Mats' which are mats woven with fleece strips - you hide treats (like kibble or dry things) in them and your dog snuffles the treats out. Fun doggy entertainment! They are really easy to make. You just need a rubber mat with holes in it and a whole lot of fleece strips. There are some instructions and pics in this link: http://www.allpetseducationandtraining.com.au/snuffle-mat-mayhem.html

Anyone going to make one? :)

Oh they look great Rachael, I will make one when I get back home. Thanks for sharing it with us :D

It looks like the rag rugs my Mum use to make, without the treats :D

For those who are not so handy in the DIY snuffle mat making department......
    https://www.facebook.com/Susiebugs/
Susiebugs sells them via her Facebook page, I don't think she has a webpage but her email address is daisy.doodlebug@btinternet.com
She sells them for "23 inc UK P&P and does them in "Brights camo and spotty"
    :D
