The past few days I have been poorly I seen my chiropractor Thursday night, went out for tea with my hubby then woke up Friday very disorientated and had a 'fuzzy' head. I've not been able to walk Harley far and hubby has been working a lot. Harley has been following me up the stairs and watching me very closely when I'm walking. I have fallen over several times in the past few days and each time she has come running up to me, walked around me sniffing, given me a lick, then sat with me until I get up this morning we fell asleep on the sofa and she snuggled up on me which she doesn't do very often anymore. This afternoon hubby and I took her for a walk - Harley has been there before with the dog walker - wow, she was brilliantly behaved, came back every time I whistled, spent time playing fetch with hubby, but kept coming to check on me if I fell behind a bit. Just feeling so thankful for having her, she really does seem to know when I'm struggling and is so caring
Re: So caring Oh, that's so lovely. They really do look after us, don't they? I hope you feel stronger soon x
Re: So caring So sorry to hear you've been having a bad time. Well done Harley for looking out for you
Re: So caring Sorry to read you haven't been feeling well, your little nurse must cheer you considerably
Re: So caring I am sorry to hear you have been feeling under the weather, I am sure Harley has picked up the fact you need a bit of TLC. Let us know if we can help, hubby is off for a few days next week.
Re: So caring Sorry to hear you are under the weather, but glad to see that Harley is stepping up to the plate. Hope you are back to normal soon!
Re: So caring Thanks everyone my little nurse does cheer me up lots Kate - thank you for your kind offer. Luckily my dog walker is back tomorrow (been away for a long weekend.....typical timing!). Aren't you out of action tomorrow? x

Re: So caring Been to the doctors today - I have labyrinthitis (inner ear infection that affects balance) -probably be out of action for a week or so ;( My dog walker is able to walk Harley every day apart from today so that will really help. Feel so guilty as Harley keeps getting toys, brings them over wanting to play and I can't ;( let's hope this clears up soon!
Re: So caring Ugh, I feel for you. I had labyrinthitis for four months a few years ago. It was absolutely horrendous. I didn't respond to the drugs the doctor was giving me, so it was just a case of waiting it out. It's such a horrid feeling. I still get little spells here and there - apparently that's quite common - but nothing like how it was before. Getting lost in your own house because you're so disorientated and having to hug the walls / sofa / floor so you don't "fall off" is just the worst. I hope you shake it REALLY soon! Willow sends a get better lick.
