    He sounds lovely :)

How about putting a treat, put hands behind his back and put treat in one hand, bring both hands in front and ask which hand. I do this with Harley and she uses her paw to choose a hand. I also sometimes use a small ball or toy.

Sorry, no other ideas......you are far more advanced in training than me as Harley is only 6 months old :)

What about roll over or bow? Or bark on cue?

Must be lovely to see them together :)

What an awesome idea! Roll over is fun. Or spin in a circle?

Annette will confirm that I have taught Obi to spin with all the energy and speed of paint drying and that he has also been taught to ignore the 'roll over' cue in front of other people.

O wow! We're doing great with this! Charlie with 100% reliability will ignore any command in front of a gundog trainer, and we're at about 80% in front of other people too! Whey-hey!

I think my OH taught Riley to high5 and to play dead when he's shot :)

He has also successfully taught him to ignore these commands in front of me so I only have his word for it ;)

Excellent work, Julie. This takes genuine dedication. Just keep at it and you will conquer that remaining 20%.

Haha Rachael we did have a giggle about Obi's spin enthusiasm the other day when the kids were listing off all the things they wanted to teach Milly. Jessica is going to teach her to drop dead when she shoots her. She is ATM teaching the cat and wants to do a double act. Lol I think the cat will die and Milly will pounce on her and kill her all over again. Lol. By the way it is totally funny to watch the cat die by shooting. It's a very dramatic slow dead. Hehe.

We have just taught Benson to fall down on the "bang bang" cue...has us in hysterics as he does this in slow motion. We used the "down" command first..then rolled him gently and repeated "bang" followed by lots of praise and treats. Think I have our first attempts on you tube somewhere... ;D
