so what's up with you?

Poor Moo wont eat and won't move. We are on our hols. Shes walked a bit more than normal but is on pain relief and was very well up until yesterday. She had nice day but reluctant to eat her tea. She did eat it and her supper. She's weeing ok. Just flat won't move or eat and just wants yo lie on the sofa. I'm Worried obviously. I'm thinking she may have a tummy bug? Just not sure.

 

Oh dear, poor Moo. Maybe she's just having an off day? Is she drinking ok?

 

Won't eat won't drink very flat just wants to sleep. I sure she has a temp and i think one side of her face is swollen so maybe and abcess?she could have broken a tooth. She is responsive and wanting cuddles but is just wanting to sleep too. I just waiting for the vet to open. I think I'm Going to have to get her in asap. I'm used to vomity labs eating stuff and all the usual stuff but this is different. I not panicky either but I don't like this.

 

Hope Moo is just having an off day. Might just be the change of location and air? Hope nothing serious and she is back to normal in no time

Oh poor Moo and poor you. Sending lots of positivity your way and hoping it's something and nothing.

 

I think she has a mouth abcess one side of her face looks different and she's done this before old dogs teeth and all that. she's so sleepy but has just eaten a crisp? funny little thing

She'll be miserable if it's an abscess. Hope you can get to the vets asap with her.

 

Poor little Moo. Will she let you gently rest the back of your hand against the swollen side of her face? If so, does it feel hot? I think you're probably right about a tooth/mouth abscess. She's obviously wanting something tasty to eat, hence the crisp - sooo brave these dogs of ours.

She'll let me touch it but its doesn't look right.I had a similar type of thing a few years ago it really hurts

Hope you have seen the vet by now and Moo has been given medication to make her feel better. If it is a carnassial abscess then antibiotics for a few days then tooth out. Friend's old dog had the same a couple of weeks ago and felt very well as soon as the tooth was removed, so fingers crossed.
