I am due to pick up my puppy in 3 weeks. I did have an extensive socialising plan in place but that has been thrown into disarray with the probable lockdown in the UK coming. My concern is how will I socialise my pup, I know how imperative it is even under normal circumstances. I have had no thought about withdrawing from getting the pup because I do not think I would find a puppy as good as this again (based on mother, father and breeder) and I made a committment to the breeder and I think about her situation if she is suddenly stuck with more puppies than she bargained for. I am lucky in that the breeder has been doing extensive socialising for a few weeks now already, especially with her other dogs and grandchildren.

Does anyone have ideas of how to go about this, for the amount of puppies being sold on a daily basis I cannot be the only one with this problem.

Socializing has so many facets you will have plenty to do without meeting other people. Most can be accomplished in the woods and around you own family at home. See it as a plus that people do not consistently touch your puppy.
