Over the last few days barley has been acting very strange, wanting to play, very eager to go out for walks, constantly on the prowl for food and generally much more livelier. This is very unlike him,he will have the occasional mad moment of wanting to play, but over the last few days he has really wanted to play and seems a lot hungrier. The only thing that has changed is that we have upped his food amounts as he was getting a little too skinny :)o), he has had more walks, he has had omega oil and joint stuff added to his food for the past 2 or so weeks, he has also been doing long wee's (more like creating a river than a wee) when he goes out, it seems like he has given up on weeing in the garden, but other than that nothing else has changed. Yesterday he ended up with 3 walks as he kept pestering us to go out.

It seems that since we have upped his food, he is hungrier, is that normal, i thought that it should be the other way round

We did notice that a few weeks ago he was getting very energetic around bedtime and wanted to play with his bed or go outside and just stare at the moon.

This is very peculiar behavior from him, i have no objections to it as i like him this way, as he wants to do stuff including training, like at agility last week he wanted to run and not in a i want to run away kind of way but i had to slow him down on the contacts as he was going so fast that he kept jumping of the end of them ::), this is the dog that is always being told to speed up at agility, the trainer was very impressed with him and wanted to know what we had done to him, as we had tried everything to get him working, liver cake, heart cake, cat food nothing worked.

If he stays like this he will be almost the perfect dog, if he does not, i don't mind, but i love him like this, it's almost like he is being a proper dog, a normal dog ???

    That sounds good Annabelle! :)
Is it just a change in diet - you are giving him more RAW now???

he has had his raw weekends for quite while now, but this weekends and including today's food amounts was upped so that we could clear as much freezer space as possible so we can fill it up with our raw food order for puzzle, so unless giving him more food has given him more energy i don't know

Full moon, windy weather ? It gets my two going. Then again it doesn't take much. ;D

It could be the change of food is better for him, more energy etc.

Whatever it's great he's doing so well for you . :D
