Today i took our Nero up my mums for a visit. She has a King Charles spaniel (Oscar) who isn't too keen on Nero as he likes to bite his long ears! Oscar is very laid back and doesnt like being around Nero as he tries to play with him but Oscar is not interested Then the odd thing happened!..... Oscar went into the kitchen sniffed around my shoes and proceeded to pee into them!!! Now Oscar never pees in the house....do you think he done this because he was annoyed at Nero? haha

Re: Something odd happened.... Hmmm... I wonder if your little puppy has previously peed on your shoes either accidentally or on purpose : and the little spaniel is simply putting his personal mark over the pup's. ;D
Re: Something odd happened.... Haha yes everyone in the house found it very funny.....my shoes now need a good wash I am not aware of Nero peeing on my shoes....it probably is to do with Oscar marking his scent
Re: Something odd happened.... Sorry...but that IS hilarious ;D ;D ;D I am fully aware I would not think so if it were my shoes. I observed an interesting thing on my walk today. Lilly peed in the verge whilst frolicking with a pal we met along the track. Said male pal went directly to pee over Lilly's mark, then Lilly went right back to pee a second time over in the exact spot. I think Lilly is a fairly dominant dog (apart from when she meets terriers ;D ) I guess Oscar was just letting you know who was boss
Re: Something odd happened.... Riley and my in-laws dog Monty basically queue up to pee on top of each others pee......several times over. Makes for a very dull walk ;D
Re: Something odd happened.... Theakston and his half-brother Ruddles always used to want to be the last to pee on any given spot. They were such competitive wee-ers that regularly they would end up peeing on each other's heads in their enthusiasm to get the last word in, as it were... Clare

I remember when Hattie was a puppy and we went to training classes, she got soooo excited to see Ray the trainer that she would run around in circles and then wee next to Ray's foot, thankfully never on it ;D If we ever meet him she cannot contain her excitement, but no more weeing
Re: Something odd happened.... We went down to the river yesterday for a swim and there were lots of dogs and people there doing the same. One group had a big plastic tub with all their clothes and towels in it and Obi pee-ed on it. I wasn't too close by at the time so I just pretended not to know him. (There was no-one with the tub and no-one screaming in horror so I had nowhere to target an apology...). Once a friends dog wee-ed in my handbag. And once Obi was being minded at someone's house and he poo-ed on their son's bed. Nice. So, yeah... Dogs :
