Something We Didn't Have To Train!!

    During Charlie's walk today were oncoming people with 3 dogs on lead, Charlie was off lead trotting along, he stopped looked at them and went straight back to David without being called, to have his lead put on then continued to amble along, he had his lead taken off again until the end of his walk. Is this odd? xx

    How super! What a great dog you have there!! Housecleaning, and now coming back without having to be recalled!!!! :)

    I wish my Charlie would do that! Definitely still a work in progress here.

    It does really mean he is thinking, as Stacia has said. He is looking ahead, thinking to himself 'Uh oh, dogs ahead, better go back to David where I know things are safe and I won't get into trouble'.

    Clever AND well trained. 8)
