Sort of of, Oban would shake his head After he barked. It took months to clear up an infected ear. How did your Vet determine there was no infection? Did he swab the ear and take a culture? Once you know whether you are dealing with bacteria or yeast then only certain meds will target each and we now have antibiotic resistant bacteria so it may take some time to find something that works.

My lab is prone to yeast in his ears. Always starts with head skaking. He has a script for otomax and we try to use apple cider vinegar to clean his ears in between.

Our older Lab, Tilly, is prone to yeast infections also. We use an ear wash anytime she has been in the water, and one with a steroid in it if she seems to have an infection. Our vet also recommended using a wash on Cooper, after swimming, even though she has never had a sign of an ear infection. We may start doing it, although she will probably put up quite a fuss.

Ear infections can be quite difficult to treat, and vets can miss them if they don't know enough to do the proper tests, etc. I would try a different vet or ask for another opinion.

    today i went Government University,
they said she have no red sign or not any discharge/puss,
they gave me medicine of OTITIS, they suggested to clean regularly.
yes i agree i never cleared ear before she got ear problem,
they also clear her ear and gave me ear cleaner and otitis ear drop.
    but im still in doubt,
from 3 months im giving regular EAR DROPS, she still have this problem.
i have tried many ear drops, all products from CIPLA, now "candytone"
    still shes getting itch,
may be its my fault that i have never clear ear with ear cleaner, i always cleaned with shampoo while giving her bath, may be thats my mistake which i was doing week by week.

i also have some doubts about how to give ear drops and precuation on giving ear drops, amount and what if i put over drops which i was doing.

should i stop ear drop for week to make her ear bit dry because of over drops?

    please guide me..
    i will also update soon.
