Hi All, Cooper has a sore (furless) small area on his right elbow.....probably from rough playing with his mates. Is there anything I can put on it (other than hibiclens to keep it clean) that will help it heal?

I am waiting for something from Australia to come for just that sort of thing. I asked the vet if there was anything and she said no. Hopefully it is in too awkward a place to lick as licking will probably make it worse.
Chepi had a small patch that she licked and made sore, still no hair on it, the vet gave a steroid cream which I used minimally. Sorry I can't suggest anything.

The vet told us to use Sudocrem on Ella's belly when she had a bit of a rash. Apparently it wasn't harmful if she happened to lick it off and provided a nice protective layer. I'm in Australia so I'm not sure if this is an international brand?

Thank you Emily and Jane....unfortunately, cannot get Sudocrem here. Think, though, am going to order it through Amazon and have it on hand. Delivery is stated as October!!!! so will not do for my problem now but, at least for the future. Thanks again.

The stuff I am going to try from Australia is called Ungvita. We used to use it on the horses if they got a scratch.

Yes you can get Sudocrem in the UK. I use it on my boys bottoms when they were babies :D
