Thanks! Yes, the crate is my savior, I am using it quite actively. He is indeed a chocolate pup, and his mouth is a death trap! Also happy to hear that not being able to fall asleep is normal, I thought ours is "special". Jogging is for the future of course, I read one can start with like 5 mins when they're around 10 months old. Absolutely no jogging with the pup! And even then, only a could kms.
