got a Labrador retriever 8 months old called lucy had problems with her eyes we wipe some days ok not too good today have been giving her antihistamine tablets which seem to help took her to vet who said might need operation just wondered might be able to offer some advice

Nobody here is an expert in veterinary medicine, and I would very much encourage you to check with your vet, and ask the vet any questions you might have. Is the op to clear the infection from under her third eyelid? My Pointer had recurring bouts of conjunctivitis due to allergies when he was about the same age as your pup and had to have an op, it sounds quite brutal as they literally scrape the infection off but it does work. Really hope Lucy is feeling better soon.
