My six year old male lab has always had what resembles urine breath. Lately it's a bit cheesy smelling. He s had his teeth cleaned in spring and no major areas there.
I can't seem to regularly brush his teeth. He fights this alot so I lose motivation.
I have been giving him more raw bones to chew since teeth clean, and he eats a decent Grade kibble. Nutro max lamb and rice. Switched from Canadian naturals to see if it would make a difference. I have just started using some kefir at both feedings for gut probiotic help.
He has mild elbow dysplasia so takes higher dose omega and glucosamine msm supplements. I don't think these are the cause? But he has had the urine smell since a year old. Just after his supplements were started. No more nice pup breath

    Id welcome any thoughts!
    Thanks
    Lisa
