We regularly walk (with Bess on the lead) through fields with sheep in them with me trying to impress on Bess that sheep are the most boring of creatures and not worth a look never mind a lunge. Today we went through a field we seldom go in; there was a flock of sheep on the opposite side of the field. To my surprise one of the sheep came running towards us wagging its little stubby tail. Bess was transfixed! I can only imagine that it had been hand reared. Now back to convincing Bess that sheep really are boring.

Oh dear, that little sheep must have learned at some point that dogs are its friends! :)
