Supermarket raw

    Sea bass are pretty equipped fish! They have lethal spikes on each of their gill flaps (excuse the terminology, I'm not a fish aficionado!) as well as the very sharp dorsal fin along the back.

    Poor Freddie! I'm much more careful now, mackerel seem less equipped!!!

    Well, I've never been stabbed while gutting a mackerel, so probably :)

    With sea bass, you can always just snip the nasty bits off with a pair of robust kitchen scissors. Although mine would be so lucky as to get fresh sea bass - I do stretch to a mackerel on birthdays though! :cwl:

    Haha! Yes I did think at the time he was one very spoilt pup, it's not his every day breakfast
