After a really fun time at the park including a swim in the creek, Monty was ready for his dinner and then a little cuddle on my lap (he's 40 kilos but thinks he's a lap dog). ??? He was soon ready to stretch out and we could tell that he was dreaming about his fun time. The tail was wagging like crazy and he was mumbling away to himself in his sleep. We do enjoy seeing a happy sleeping boy.
Re: Sweet dreams.... Yes it's really good isn't it. Lady does that too including running. What can be a bit disconcerting is her dreaming after we have gone to bed. She sleeps in the kitchen under the table and sometimes she wakes us up whooping in her sleep.

After her spay Juno was sleeping in the kitchen and woke me in the early hours crying, I came down to find she'd climbed on the table and couldn't get down Hebe has fantastic dreams, tail twitching, feet going, nose wrinkling - obviously reliving her walk, although I sometimes wish she wasn't so vigorous when she's kicking me in the ribs.
