Today has been the most perfect day. Not a cloud in the sky. 8)

I took the dogs swimming in a trout lake on the shooting estate I work on. Here is Caddie doing what she does best - retrieving. ;D

You are such a lucky girl to live in such a beautiful area with all these great places to train in. Caddie looks great and has obviously recovered from her op :D Well I can only dream for such great retrieving even on land ;D Thank you Lovely video Heidrun. Helen x

    Re: Swimming

How delightful , a dream for me but one I doubt will happen :'(
We too are blessed with crystal clear rivers, lakes and the sea, all within a few minutes of home but sadly, Sam will not swim . He fell into water when he was very small and whilst I was quick to haul him out, it left him quite traumatised . For months he wouldnt even walk through an inch of water but with encouragement , he will now go in after his dummy , but as soon as he is out of his depth he panics and comes out . Its such a shame , I love to see them swimming and agree, Caddie looks in fine shape :)

Kate, don't give up hope. Murffi wouldn't swim for many many months. And now look at him. :)

    Re: Swimming

    Wonderful flying entries ;D
Lilly goes to hydrotherapy. Needs pushed in to start, then swims fine!!
Always swims better in the pond when there is a chase going on though. ;D
Sophie has been known to go in to the hydrotherapy pool.
Go on Kate, you know you want to ;D ;D

I doubt my own sanity at times , now having visions of me in a wet suit ( thank you Heidrun !) swimming back to shore with a dummy in my mouth :)
