Teething

Stanley is in the middle of teething (I think).

I keep finding his little teeth and blood on his toys.

But what I have noticed is that his breath really smells - is this part of teething?

Usually yes, my OH could smell the change in Rorys.

 

What does it smell like?

 

Xena's teething and neither I nor my apparently "sensitive"-nosed OH have noticed an odour.

 

A bit like rotting fish I think. He has a habit of yawning right in your face and it stinks, but it's just been this past week or so when he's been teething

 

I actually posted about Quinn's breath on here it was so bad when she was teething. We went to the vet to be sure, and it was bad breath from teething, but also her anal glands were slightly too full so she was licking at them, adding to the breath problem!

 

I don't know OH says it's an iron and a slightly rotten smell

 

Yup, my two were pretty smelly when teething. I found it to be an strong smell of iron.

 

I keep finding little teeth everywhere, really cute!

I wanted to put a treat under his pillow like the tooth fairy had been but OH said that was too far.. He's probably right.

 

Funny, we were just talking about doing this last night I don't think it's too far

 

And I'm not looking forward to that smell...then again, I like his puppy skunk breath so who knows

 

I just glad I don't smell stuff oh said it was nasty
