Thank goodness for recall!

    So recall training has finally paid off! This morning we had had a lovely walk along the South Downs near Birling Gap and were just returning to the cafe for much needed coffee when Maisie shot off round some gorse bushes at top speed. I ran after her and could see her way ahead of me barking like mad at a very large pony :eek:. The pony just stood and looked at her! I blasted her 3 pip recall and amazingly she stopped barking, looked at me and ran back to me as fast as she could. Thank god the pony didn't run, chase her (we were not far from the cliffs) or kick her.

    Coffee was had with a large slice of cake to recover :D !!!

    @Joy if you are walking over that way Joy be careful, there is a large group of ponies near the Belle Tout Lighthouse. I think the one we met had got left behind!
