Re: The Cushion Monster... Well Poppy I have to say that picture has cheered me right up "Who did that to my cushion?" ;D ;D She does look very guilty! Brilliant Karen. Helen xx
Re: The Cushion Monster... 'I was just playing quietly with my stuffed tiger toy and suddenly the cushion just EXPLODED!!!'
Re: The Cushion Monster... its the Ears Back Who me look.....classic! gave me a right giggle at work!
Re: The Cushion Monster... Ben has just pointed out there seems to be a beautifully clean arc of floor behind her......I wonder what could have caused that?....
Re: The Cushion Monster... I think if you look closely you can see the blur of a frantically apologetic tail...
Re: The Cushion Monster... Just thinking Karen, do you think Poppy needs a 'friend' to help her fend off the Cushion Monster'? Just a thought Helen x
Re: The Cushion Monster... Oh Helen, you evil temptress!! Yes, she DEFINITELY needs a friend!! I have been thinking the exact same thing - I would LOVE to have another dog! Problem is, with my other half away on business for several months and me working full time, it would be impossible to take on a puppy or even an older dog at present. But I am certain that once things have calmed down work wise and we have more time with himself working from home again, we will doubtless once more become a two-dog household... I had such a sad evening yesterday. I was doing my filing and found all the vet's bills from the last few months of Bones' life, as well as the invoice from the crematorium. It was awful - cried myself to sleep, followed by a night of anxious dreams. :'(
Re: The Cushion Monster... Oh Karen you poor thing I hope you feel better today and lots of happy memories of Bones are with you I may have to live my wish for an extra dog vicariously through you and others here. No chance for another dog in the foreseeable future. So hope you get one soon
Re: The Cushion Monster... Yes, small children AND two dogs AND a return to work would be a bit much, I think! You are pretty amazing anyway!!
Re: The Cushion Monster... Oh Karen I am so sorry you had such a sad evening :'(. Think happy thoughts about Bones and the wonderful life you all had together. We look forward to such a time when you feel you can bring a new dog into your lives Personally I don't think I could ever do two dogs again, not after Charlie, as much as we love him it's been a hard slog Helen x
Re: The Cushion Monster... Just really hoping the Cushion Monster doesnt visit our friends' house while Poppy is staying there...
