I can’t find it at the moment, but somebody recently posted that they scatter kibble around their garden and let their pup find it. I am watching a Ashima do just that. Brilliant advice! She’s ignoring everything else!

We must try this with Pepper as over the last couple of days he’s become a digger!

It's also what we do if Maxx grabs something precious...we yell 'scatter' and throw some kibble on the floor and he drops the object (usually my glasses that I keep forgetfully leaving on a side table) and runs to the kibble. This brilliant advice came from the wise @snowbunny - thanks!!

We do it on walks as well. Scatter a few treats on a grassy bank and let H look for them. Its a nice way of getting her attention in many situations.
