Hi all, Not sure if this particular move is peculiar to Harvey or whether it is widespread... When out for a walk and we are practicing good loose lead walking I will, at certain random points along the walk, give Harvey a 'Go sniff' command. That is, at that point there is no need to walk nicely by my side, Harv can go and sniff to his heart's content. Whilst sniffing he will often lean away from me with some force, effectively relying on my holding the lead to prevent him from falling over! : Anybody else have a dog that does 'the lean' when sniffing?
Re: The lean The Lean?? Oh yes. Also The Lie Down Sniff, The Plant My Paws, and The Concrete Bum (name inspired by Choc Charlie)... :

No Concrete Bum though - I'll keep an eye open for that one
Re: The lean Its funny, but we also have a move called "the lean". When Holly feels like a bit of attention she'll sit beside one of us and lean into our legs.
