Stanleys getting a patch on his tummy where the fur seems to be quite thin. Does anyone else's lab have this? It doesn't look irritated or anything. I'm not sure whether to be concerned..
Does anything rub on the area like harness? Or does he lie long anything which could be rubbing on it?
Axel got this in the spring, his was from seasonal allergies when it was at its worst. After about a month it grew back.
Does he scratch? Snowie has an itchy spot on his chest that he scratches with his hind paw and the hair is thinner there.
It's hard to tell from the photo but what is the skin like underneath? In my professional opinion (haha just kidding.. I'm an accountant ) it looks like it's either been rubbed away by something (like his harness) or he's scratched at it and rubbed it away.
Same as @Kelsey&Axel, Quinn's chest looks like this from seasonal allergies resulting in hair loss (but actually vet originally thought it could have been harness rubbing). Even when her allergies calm down, she is still fairly sparse on the chest though!
Thanks everyone. He doesn't seem to scratch at it or anything and it doesn't seem to be bothering him. I only noticed when he starfished on the couch The skin is just completely normal so I think it must be his harness rubbing. I'll keep an eye on it. Always something with these pups
Axel never scratched at his and the skin was also normal Though he did have very sore looking paws! Which did bother him.
