We collected Juno this morning from our dog trainer where she has been staying while we went to the UK and she has slept pretty much all the time since we got home - one tired little girl  . Having heard what she's been up to it's not really surprising as apart from lots of play with her two bestest friends (Ziggi and Juno), she's been to a training lesson with a 3 month old Westie puppy and was very well behaved, apart from wanting to play with the puppy's toys :), met and played with the young children of some of the trainer's friends (Juno's not used to meeting children as we have none in the immediate family) and met several other dogs who visited with their owners. Not too bad for 4 days and reports from the trainer was that Juno was very good, didn't jump, bark or any other undesirable behaviour and was very obedient. Really pleased with my special little girl :D I'll have to think of a special treat for her - when she wakes up that is

Not heard of Billy and Margot dog-ice, don't think it's available in rural France :(:(. Mind you Juno was so tired at lunchtime she didn't hear me opening my yogurt so I didn't have to share today :D;)

The trip was tiring as it was for my brother-in-laws funeral so Monday was sorting out his house (my husband is the executor of the will), Tuesday the funeral and then Wednesday some time to do some shopping - Sainsburys for Cadurys chocolate, bacon and cheddar cheese and a trip to Pets @ Home for some bits for the cats and Juno. Arrived home late last night after sharing the return voyage with lots of D-Day veterans and their families.

Best wishes to you and your family at this sad time.

I'm glad Juno enjoyed her holiday. I have just bought an ice cream maker and have every intention of making the dogs some yummy ice cream over the summer :)
