What do you do when your pup has chewed a hole in something with stuffing - toy, bed etc? Do you throw it away, remove all the stuffing so they can't swallow it or re-stuff and sew it up? I'm inclined to think that if I sew it up, they'll just fuss where the repair is, and go through to the insides again immediately!
Re: Toy stuffing. I wouldnt know because my little angel would never ever dream of doing such a thing.

Re: Toy stuffing. Ooops. Mr Meerkat had lost his hands and feet so I swapped him for Lambie. Who now appears to have been docked.
Re: Toy stuffing. Bin. I bought a couple of cute wee furrys for Cupar. Within weeks I caught Cassie and Cupar playing tug of war with the poor wee sheep. So sheep no more. Then more scarily Cupar approached me squeaking. I really thought I was going mad. It was the squeeker from the last furry , so removing squeak from Cupar and put all squeaky toys safely away. There is rope toys available for both dogs to play with when I am home. There is only kongs to chew on when I am not. The rest get brought out for treats. I can't believe how much like having a toddler it is.
Re: Toy stuffing. Harley didn't de-stuff anything til she turned 1......since then any toy that has stuffing doesn't last long. She de-stuffs and takes out the squeaker, but won't eat any of it. I have re stuffed and sew a few up but have now given up ??? She only does it with toys though - never touched a pillow or bed!!
Re: Toy stuffing. I unstuff them and sew them up, but most of them don't last long. Kong furry toys are the very best, I find - they have two and no sign of holes yet. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Kong-Wubba-...ie=UTF8&qid=1419349576&sr=8-31&keywords=kongf I have to watch Tatze as she will quietly eat and swallow any toy : Yet her teddy is still intact (sans ears ) for nose-sucking purposes.
Re: Toy stuffing. Bella doesn't intentionally de-stuff things...but when she inadvertently pops a hole in something....the stuffing just falls out....all over the floor... :

Re: Toy stuffing. Oops got carried away there..... I just restuff them. Again, and again, and again, Eventually I throw them out.
