What do you do when your pup has chewed a hole in something with stuffing - toy, bed etc?
Do you throw it away, remove all the stuffing so they can't swallow it or re-stuff and sew it up? I'm inclined to think that if I sew it up, they'll just fuss where the repair is, and go through to the insides again immediately!

Ooops. Mr Meerkat had lost his hands and feet so I swapped him for Lambie. Who now appears to have been docked.

Bin. I bought a couple of cute wee furrys for Cupar. Within weeks I caught Cassie and Cupar playing tug of war with the poor wee sheep. So sheep no more. Then more scarily Cupar approached me squeaking. I really thought I was going mad. It was the squeeker from the last furry , so removing squeak from Cupar and put all squeaky toys safely away.

There is rope toys available for both dogs to play with when I am home. There is only kongs to chew on when I am not. The rest get brought out for treats.

I can't believe how much like having a toddler it is.

Harley didn't de-stuff anything til she turned 1......since then any toy that has stuffing doesn't last long. She de-stuffs and takes out the squeaker, but won't eat any of it. I have re stuffed and sew a few up but have now given up ??? She only does it with toys though - never touched a pillow or bed!!

Bella doesn't intentionally de-stuff things...but when she inadvertently pops a hole in something....the stuffing just falls out....all over the floor... ::)
