Yesterday at puppy class I mentioned to the trainer if she had any tips for avoiding the pin like teeth Maisie has, as she is so enthusiastic when taking treats she is very toothy! She suggested using a tube of cheese (primula) as you just squeeze a little out and then they lick the end. So today I bought a tube of liver paste that Arden grange do and it works so well! I have a bad back as said on the other thread so I can't bend down to her to give her treats but as the tube is quite long i can hold the end and she can reach without needing to jump and I don't need to bend. I'm pleased as I have been so disheartened that with my injury I can't train her myself, but at least with this I can do some. So good!

Sounds like a really good idea :)
How is your back today? Is your other half back from fishing?

He came back last night yea. It's ok, iv got a good level of painkillers in my system so it's not too painful in my back although I still have pain in my legs and I don't have much range of movement. I can tell that if I wasn't taking the painkillers I would be in agony. I'm thinking about getting a drs appt about painkillers as tramadol isn't agreeing with me. I'm feeling really down about it all, that it's come at a time when I'm meant to be training for a trek in India I am doing for charity in October (worried whether il be able to go!) and fundraising for it! and also this is such a crucial time for Maisie with training and going out and about and this is obviously going to limit what I can do with her myself when Charlie is at work. It's just rubbish :( but thanks for asking Naya :)

Oh my, that looks amazing! Now I need baby food pouches. What a surprise, Julie has me shopping. Again.

Hope the back gets better soon Fankie. My husband has had a 'back problem' for nearly 40 years and it can be so debilitating. Luckily he has found a good Chiropracter and a visit to him every couple of months seems to do the trick.

I love the idea of the 'Primula' tube, just the thing to pop in your pocket for moments of crises when the little devil won't come back.

I am a qualified reflexologist and that can do wonders for bad backs. I have several clients who use me to ease aches and pains.

Frankie, do you do yoga? I find it does wonders to strengthen the core muscles, and so help prevent back strain in the future.
