I am so upset I don't really even know where to begin. I will try to just cut to the chase and be brief. Our 3 yr old lab just recently started to growl at me if I go to him while he is laying down. He looks at me licks his lips like he is very anxious. Nothing has changed. It breaks my heart and makes me so sad because he and I are very close, he normally is following me and doing everything with me. He did it to our son a couple of times as well and he is very close to him too. He stayed the night at his house and he was fine he said not nervous or anything, he growled at him here at our home when he did. It's only when he seems to be in our living room just laying around. Oakley is a anxious dog. The only thing we can think of is our puppy well he's almost 15 mo now is still intact and he seems to low growl at him every once in awhile which makes Bentley leave the area. We had him at the vet to be sure nothing medically is wrong. He said it's possible it's because of Bentley still being intact. We do have a behavior modification specialist coming in a few days. Im just so shocked sad and scared of his behavior.
