I have been using TTouch with Charlie as recommended by Carole for quite a while now and I believe it works. I massage his ears, paws and around his eyes and mouth, he goes into a complete state of relaxation which is not something we see too often ;D and he smiles from ear to ear ;D. He used to resist being touched around these areas but not now :D Today Charlie let me clean his very grubby ears for the first time and he just sat and seemed to enjoy it and he got a yummy treat for being so good. I hope this will help with Vet visits as he has been very anxious and has had to be sedated twice for minor treatment. Charlie has had a few eye infections so hopefully this should make it a little easier on him in the future. :D

I was a little sceptical of this technique, but hey don't knock it till you've tried it!! Helen x

That's really great to hear :) I knew a few flyballers who used it on their dogs, but I don't know much about the technique. I, too, would be interested to learn more.

Sorry Helen, I was trying to edit your post and deleted it. I was adding the following:

The above book is actually listed in the back of the first print run of Total Recall. I do hope this is not why Helen purchased it. The title was added by the publisher without my permission or knowledge, and has been removed from all future copies at my request.

Hi Pippa, this ladies book was recommended to me by Caroleb (forum member), I didn't realise it was listed in Total Recall, hope that's OK. Helen x
