Very much all beneath her dignity!

    You may recall that the Small Black Dog from time to time sits at the end of the driveway on the way out for a walk, puts her ears back, looks me in the eye and puts her paw over the lead and pulls it down. This gets repeated a few times before she decides to come on the walk.

    Well she did it again this morning and it struck me that she might just possibly be finding the lead a bit beneath her dignity, so I slipped the lead off to see what would happen. SBD stood up straight away and trotted off looking back to see if I was following.

    So there you are SBD is now too proud to be seen on a lead in public. ;D

    I suspect she was telling you "It's ok David, I trust you enough now for you to be allowed to walk off lead" ;D

    Update - It's now the norm for Lady to walk at heal off lead to the railway crossing, then on lead to cross. Then the same again back to the house. ;D
