Last night we a scrumptious starter, sticky chicken in lots of sweet chilli sauce. Took the plates into the kitchen intending to use again for a stir fry. Came back into the front room for a couple minutes for a few sips of wine, then back in the kitchen to find.......

...two half licked plates! ;D ;D

Honestly you could've drawn a ruler along them...both exactly half licked, so I now know precisely how far his tongue can reach! ;D ;D

And no, before you lot ask, although I was tempted...I did stick them both in the dishwasher.... 8) :)

I get that too if there's something especially nice going. We had some leftover pizza one time and Penny managed to grab the slice that was closest to the edge of the kitchen counter.

We also tend to find plates that have been entirely licked clean, but that's the cat!

Caught our cat counter surfing the other day on our new Motorola camera, (it takes photos) he was helping himself to a bolognase sauce I had put on the windowsill out of the way of the dogs.. ;D

My husband wanted to call Molly "Prewash" as a reference to how all our dogs have prewashed the plates before going into the dishwasher

He was adamant, this dog was going to have nothing but kibble. Who do you think is the worst offender in slipping her bits? No doubt you got it in one

    How funny ;D

Hattie can still occassionally be a counter surfer even at her age ::) During the summer holidays Grace made a chicken and mayo sandwich but left the kitchen ::), came back Hattie had carefully removed the top slice of bread leaving it on the counter and ate the chicken filling also leaving the bottom slice of bread, needless to say Grace was not happy ;D xx

Oof, yes. One of my aged, inherited cats is particularly bad. She particularly likes a bacon grill pan, and is rather fond of leftover pizza if you leave the box open in the kitchen! Of course, Merla goes nuts if she catches her at it- it's the one time I wouldn't mind her barking to be honest, but she doesn't - just runs back and forth frantically with a scandalised expression on her face ;D ;D
