Just had another vets appointment. They are really happy with Harley's recovery and her scar :) we can do 3x10 minute walks a day, slowly increasing to 3x30 mins walk a day over the next week :). Harley can come upstairs to sleep again too, I'm sure she will like that :)
Harley cowered in the vets :( the vet nurse is also a dog behaviourist so started doing some relaxation techniques with Harley to try and help her get back to herself when she goes there. By the time we left, Harley was led down in the consulting room without panting :). I can honestly say that even though it's a 'chain' vets, they really do care about every animal :)
There is light at the end of the tunnel :D

    They really are lovely :)
The only bad thing is Harley has put on weight this week.....she is now 25.8kg! She doesn't look fat, but I'm going to go careful over the next few weeks!

Good to hear she's doing well! Penny put on a bit whilst she was on limited exercise. She should lose that soon enough once she's back to full fitness!

That's good news. I'm not surprised that Harley cowered at the vets, it's been a bit of a week for her!

Marvellous news. Don't worry about the weight, as soon as she's back to being active, it'll drop off.

So pleased, thanks for the update. Don't fret about the couple of extra pounds, they'll soon go. :)

Holly put on almost a kilo after she was spayed, mainly because of inactivity. Once she was back to normal she quickly burned it off.
