:'(. Got home from a game of football in the park with the dogs and a quick stop off at the pub to meet a friend. All grand, get home, and brods starts violently vomiting...and vomiting...and vomiting...couldnt even keep water down. Sat quietly with him but he kept pacing and whining and his throat was making an odd kind of reverse burp sound,,,brods is a very stoic boy and hasnt been ill in his life, so after a while I cracked and phoned emergency vets who said bring him in. When they palpitatated his throat he was gagging so I have had to leave him overnight and they might be going to give him a GA and endescope him...phoned Vet sister and she said was the right thing to do...his wee face when they led him away from me and Cuillin...home now and the house seems half full and Cuillin is all worried looking and having to have a cuudle. vets phoning me at 11pm...wahhhhh I hate them being ill... :'(

Your head tells you you're doing he right thing leaving him with the vet, but it doesn't make it any easier :'( :'( Fingers crossed all night for you both x

They're not going to endoscope him tonight which Im really pleased about. Much as i like my vets here in Scotland, i'd much rather my sister vet took care of my dogs...if they are still concerned about his throat Ill take him to see sister....oh phew, phew, phew, and a thousand phews... really missing my big gloopy soft lad and so is cuillin. Can't wait to get him home tomorrow. Thanks again everyone....
