willow is now nearly 7 months and we walk her am and pm for about 30-40 mins each time. she is off lead the whole time (bar 1 min to get to the farm tracks). we are very lucky and walk through farms and fields.

is this ok or too much? if we see another dog she may have a mad 20 mins of playing also.

her mum and dad had perfect hip and elbow scores

I dont think its too much , especially as most of the walk is on soft surfaces . Looking back to when Sam was this age , he had about the same level of exercise , the vast majority being in fields, woodlands etc.
Lots more damage can be caused by dogs jumping from great heights at this age , running up and down stairs etc . Its all about common sense really and the five mins rule is just a guide, not set in stone , so carry on enjoying your walks :)

Sounds good to me, too. Just as much damage can be done by puppies NOT getting enough exercise, so let her run around with her pals on soft ground. :)
