Well, somehow Ella passed class one on Sunday, which means she actually passed the stand for examination!!! Crazy, I know! To pass this test she had to walk at heel with loose lead for the entire time (includes left and right about turns, left and right turns), sit, drop, stand, walking recall, sit stay, drop stay, stand for examination and return to dog around the back after the stays. She was a complete star for the entire test, I couldn't fault her. However, it's only the third time that she has ever done the stand for examination properly (the first time was a couple of weeks ago and the second time was about 10 minutes before the test) so I don't actually feel that we're ready to go to class two. We only have two weeks left before we break for Christmas so I'll go into class two and see how we go. If I feel that we're too far behind the others we'll just drop back and do class one again until we're more consistent.

Crappy camera work but here is our ribbon pose:

And here is where we nearly lost the ribbon...

Super job....very well done, give your next class a go definitely.Sometimes I think we lack in confidence and don't give them credit for what they can actually do!....if she hadn't already tried to eat it,she certainly looks like she's going to give it a go in the second pic x

Yep, about a second after that photo was taken, the ribbon disappeared into her mouth! Luckily she responded to 'leave it' (a little late obviously) so it's just a little crinkled and wet. I suppose it is her ribbon though so if she wants to eat it...
