I find myself drooling over pictures of chocolate pups and adults. Looking at the photo of the very young litter my breeder sent me, I thought 2 of the pups were darker. So, now I'm interested and I guess hoping for some chocolate photos to appear! ;D
Re: What shade of chocolate is your dog? There was quite a variety in the litter i got Kenzi from, from pale to almost black. Kenzi is fairly light in colour and seems to have golden brown on her back, she also has fairly pale green/brown eyes compared to other chocolate labs we've met on our walks...hopefully the picture link will work but we'll see. https://www.flickr.com/photos/124452163@N04/sets/72157644590555404/

Otis is dark chocolate, lovely and rich,sorry cant put a pic up, feel free to look at the ones on my face book, Maggie Cronk , I wanted a more snubby nosed lighter chocolate one, like Julies Charlie boy, but Otis has a longer nose and is dark, thing is, it dosent matter what they look like, you totaly fall in love with them whatever XX Maggie - hope you don't mind I stole some pic of Otis from FM to show off his lovely deep colour - I know everyone isn't on FB.

Re: What shade of chocolate is your dog? Dexter is pretty light for a golden labrador. He has ginger tinted eyelashes but on his back he has what look like two white patches by his shoulders. When we brought him home, we said they were his angel wings. Now we say its the space his vampire wings will pop out of ;D

Re: What shade of chocolate is your dog? Mags, all I know is she is chocolate, looking at the 1 week old photos I think 2 of the 4 chocolates are a bit darker. I just started this thread so I could see lots of chocolate dogs because I needed my chocolate fix! ;D
