I have been hand feeding Amy half her breakfast while I have been keeping her in. What a difference in her behaviour, totally focused on me and won't leave my side. Even in the garden, hope it works when we are back in the big exciting world! Any way, breakfast is 7 am and her dinner is 7 pm. She lets us know when we are running late!
Re: What time do you feed your dogs? Harley is still on 3 meals a day at the minute. She eats at 7.30am, 1-1.30pm and 7.30pm. I am hoping to change her to 2 meals in the next month or so and will do very similar to you When I took Harley to Cardiff to see my daughter just over a week ago I fed her lunch by hand in the car. It was brilliant as she sat nicely the whole way, ate slowly and was much more focused. It took 45 mins in the car and took most of this time to eat

Re: What time do you feed your dogs? My guys eat once a day, usually around 11am. But it really depends on the dog - I previously had a doberman bitch who had to eat three times a day or she would get really ill. So I just pay attention to their cues and adjust accordingly. Right now, once a day is fine but it may go up once spring arrives and we're more active.

Breakfast 7-7.30 ish Dinner 6 ish Both meals after fairly long walk so the variance is really how long I think it takes for him to cool down and it be safe to eat. Frozen kongs always in the freezer and he gets given one if I need him to be occupied ie visitors or I'll give him a little one if I am going out for a couple of hours and he will be on his own.
