Hi everyone, my friend recently left the village would like to visit with his 9 month old Welsh Fox Terrier and I would be grateful for any advise on how to introduce him into our home with Charlie, Hattie knows Ted as we have walked many times before. We have had dogs in our home before but Charlie was not happy with 1 dog Harry as he marked and he was never invited back again :. Ted has started marking so obviously I want this to go smoothly. Should I arrange to meet in the paddock, walk and then come into the house :-\? Thanks x

Re: When Charlie meets Ted It should be ok as Ted is so young. Sorry Helen, can't quite get from your post whether Charlie already knows Ted? I would definitely walk somewhere neutral first, let them get to know each other outside of Charlie's territory.
