I mean puzzle is almost 6 months and she has not really chewed anything, this does not seem right, she has plenty of toys to chew and plenty of chews that we can give her to chew but none have been needed yet, unless she is saving all of her chewing until later and she explodes with chewyness but i can't see that happening any time soon
Re: When does the chewing start Riley wasn't a massive chewer, he quite enjoyed destroying a cardboard box every now and then but he rarely seemed like he was desperate to chew because of his teeth. Maybe you've just got lucky
Re: When does the chewing start I had to read this a few times....well, count yourself lucky!! My previous dogs were not "chew" oriented, either, so I was certainly glad to see I was not alone when I joined this forum and saw others experiencing the same issues with chewing that I was having, or that Simba was having, to be precise!! So if you have a non-chewer, rejoice!!
Re: When does the chewing start You are just really lucky!!! If she has not been a chewer up to now she probably won't ever be a chewer.
Re: When does the chewing start Just enjoy the fact she isn't a chewer... I'm spending a fortune on things to chew to save old and shabby furniture. Maybe I should just let her go on with it and spend the money on new furniture!!!! ;D Clare
Re: When does the chewing start We wrapped our furniture in corrugated cardboard which might be worth a go but to be honest Riley didn't show much interest in the chair legs
Re: When does the chewing start We were lucky with Sam too , he did destroy the kitchen rug and one slipper but thats all , mustnt grumble ;D ;D What a splendid idea Barbara , cardboard on furniture legs
