I know.....there are no warnings anywhere or from anyone ! Most days my pup finds fox poo, I'm convinced she can smell it from miles away! Gross, gross, gross!

Saw this earlier, made me giggle! Not come across swan yet!

I wish I had shares in the Animology Fox Poo Shampoo that is a godsend....)

Hmm, we have foxes here. I don't special fox poo shampoo. Still, my little Willow isn't going to be interested in rolling in it, I'm sure. She's a lady, don't you know!

Oh but wait while you've got a little boy!! They were made to roll in smelly stuff!! My two actually did this with an ants nest in our garden this summer too! They do a kind of 'dive bomb' that starts with the snout then continues down the rest of their body until they are on the floor rolling! Fortunately they haven't yet found any fox poo - I don't know how I would know if they did tho....

Montysmum, you must have been looking in the wrong places on the forum. Seems to me almost every other thread has a reference to dogs either eating poo, or else rolling in it. Sometimes both...

I may soon have to speak to my fellow moderators about whether we should instigate a "Poo" board, where forum members can discuss these endearing labrador traits to their hearts' delight!!

Fox poo is a good reason for walking in fields which have water troughs - good for bathing smelly labs. I actually did this some years ago when I had a lab who just couldn't resist that delightful perfume! I got very wet ... she stayed very smelly as I didn't have any shampoo with me!:(

Very good idea. Let's see...sub categories of poo board...

    My puppy has runny poo
    My puppy eats poo
Rolling in poo (and washing of dog techniques)
Poo pick up duty and related poo bag paraphernalia (including moans about bag-it-and-fling-it people)
    Ideal poo consistency and colour
    Ideal frequency of poos
Pooing inside (and toilet training in general)

    ....

    I think that's about it... ;D
