Please can someone help with this problem I have mixed copper sulphate in her food as that is what the vet suggested but Jess takes no notice of it. I watch her carefully but she has the run of a 4 acre field. This habit is really upsetting to the extent of me thinking of not keeping her if it cant be sorted.

My young pup Bramble used to do this...not pleasant. She eventually just grew out of it, still a bit partial to cat poo though!

Can I say that at 16 weeks "getting the run of a 4 acre field" might lead to some other issues related to self-rewarding too.
Could you give her a smaller sectioned off area. When outside you probably need to still be there and engage more with her to try and help combat her habits.
My sister in law's dog did this too, but with strict watching and clearing up, as well as the passage of time, she has grown out of it too.
