Today was puppy pick up day and what a day it's been!

We have brought home a lovely girl which we've named Willow. She is amazing. We can't get enough of her... she's currently asleep next to me on the sofa :D

She's had one accident in the house but other that that has been perfect (and that was our fault!). She's eating and drinking lovely and we can't believe she's finally here.

Our nearly 4 year old is besotted of course but we are so proud of how calm he's been, how helpful and how much space he gives her. They are best friends already and he loves "being a tree" when he needs to be.

Okay so here are the pics!!

First pic of her in the car on the way home:

    Thank you so much!!

She is wonderful!! The first night was hard but she didn't do too bad, and we had a few accidents in the house (our fault), but last night she did amazing. She slept much better downstairs than by our bed, and every 3 hours we took her out in the garden and she settled well after each time.
No accidents today either woohoo! :)
She had her first check up and vaccination today and she was perfect.

She's doing really well in the car crate, and I've been charging the clicker to start clicker training as soon as possible.
She's had lots of strokes outside the supermarket, been to the beach for the first time yesterday (not on the ground of course), and the vacuum has been on, phone ringing, washing machine going getting used to all those noises ticking off things on the list each day.

She's a little crocopup as we knew she would be, and we have lots of chew toys for her and waiting on the teething gel in the post!

Will be sharing more photos as time goes on! (Thank you for the comment about my photos... I absolutely love taking photos, always have done... I try to get the best out of my camera phone!)

It's so lovely to hear your excitement in your posts Lucy, enjoy your gorgeous bundle!

We still have about one accident a day with Twiglet (11 weeks tomorrow) always because I forget she's 'due' or I get distracted even 'tho I was watching her!

I love these puppy days - they go past so fast!

    :)

Crocopup and teething gel - now that's an interesting combination. I've never seen teething gel for puppies so how do they suggest you apply it with out losing a finger or two ;)

Willow is soooo cute.....and you are all in for a wonderful adventure! They learn every day....they are so smart.
Yes, you have to be on top of them every minute of the day for a while but it will pay back big....the more you put in to them the more you get back. Mine now is 16 months old....and I can't believe time has flown so fast....he probably weighed 5 pounds when he was a wee one, he now weighs 79 pounds! So enjoy every day because they are gone in a flash.....she is just a beautiful baby.....reminds me of Cooper when I brought him home. Congratulations!
    And ENJOY!
