    Hi All

Does anyone have a Wolfy brand dog bed for their Lab? If so which one do you have, what size and do you recommend them?

Looking to buy one for Albert but as they are expensive I'd like some views from other lab owners first if possible.

    Thanks for your help

Helen, that would be me too. Just sold Chepi's new bed to day care as she was only interested in the chew value ::)

It looks perfect and VERY comfy. :)

Charlie was a huge chewer - but never chewed a bed. One minor causality in a memory form crate mat (it did have sort of a spiky effect of small cones of memory foam, so that was probably asking for trouble, really).

We've got one and it does wash. Getting the cushions in and out of the middle bit is quite hard work.

Worth the hard work of washing it weekly?

Oh crumbs.....mine doesn't get washed anywhere near that often :-[

Certainly do-able. Basically you have three long tight fitting sausages. You have to wrestle each one down the snug tube stitched to keep them in place.

    It's a comfy bed that's for sure :D

I bought a job lot of blue and purple bath towels. These cover beds and crate mats, to absorb the muddy paw prints, day to day and get washed often. Beds themselves....er...every month or every other month even... :-[

I do put vet bed in my dogs' beds, so maybe I wouldn't have to wash it that often then?!

    Well, I don't!

I asked my best friend..."does my house smell?". She said "no, of course not! Well, only of Charlie...".

My beds get washed when the weather allows :D
Never get as fresh when they don't get out for an airing
Having said that, more use of towels and covers in the winter to aid the keeping clean process.

Looks like a lovely comfy bed, but sounds like a pain to wash!

Penny has one of those 'waterproof' dog beds in her plastic bed which i just cover with various fleece blankets - at the moment she has a Sherpa fleece on it.

I can't remember the last time I washed her soft bed in the living room  maybe when she was a pup and she peed on it... Oh dear

I use huge towels a lot, but mostly as covers for the floor - by the back door, very muddy garden - and for on the sofa. Every time I go into the supermarket I look to see if the towels are in a sale. I would love to get Chepi a comfy bed but she has chewed 2 already. She has vetbed in her crate which I WILL wash before she gets spayed but I am too busy washing dirt filled towels and finding somewhere to hang them, to wash the vetbed too ::)

I would love to be able to buy lovely deep comfy beds for our dogs, but sadly given half the chance Benson would tear them to shreds. Just love the big Orvis ones, more like a dog sofa than a bed, really want to buy one for Casper, think he would love one :)
