Ok, I'm never satisfied. Edsel has been insane for days but now I'm worried because he is very quiet and sleeping all day. And not sleeping under my desk as usual but in the guest bath. He ate an entire bowl of my in laws dog's food, but hasn't been sick. Not sure if he's just having a mellow period or not feeling well.

I do this, all the time. My boy is a hooligan, and I spend my time trying to get him to be less hooligan-like. As soon as he is quiet, I think "oh no!" He's sick! ;D

Even the totally nutty ones have quiet days. Mind, if he keeps on not being himself, there might be something wrong. But my guess is you should enjoy it for now.

After all his recent antics he's probably tuckered out! Miaisie had a day like that, I was worried, but the next day she was back to her normal self, just recharging the batteries I think! She also stole a bowl full of wet dog food at my neighbours house, and was perfectly all right!

Sorry but had a giggle at this......reminded me of what I was like with Harley last year :) I'm sure he's ok, just exhausted ;)

I'm exactly the same Lori, I wish for a wee quiet time to myself from the Tasmanian devil and then I worry if he's too quiet. Think it's just normal!!

If he's quiet for more than a day I'd probably go to the vet to get his temperature taken. He may have a bit of a fever if he's seeking out cool places away from people.

Or he might just be a bit tired and the weather a bit warm :)

Thanks all! My fears were obviously unfounded as he and Oscar (17 wk Golden Retriever) have wrestled practically non stop since last evening. Yikes!
