After 5 long months Mabel is fit enough to attend training class. Yesterday we went along, not sure who was more excited me or Mabel. Our training class is on a pay as you go very relaxed basis with a host of different breeds and owners attending for many reasons. Yesterday was the last day of term before the Christmas break so our trainer decided we would have just for fun games. One game was to get our dogs walking to heal in a big circle when the sit command was given the last dog to sit was out. To our joy and amazement Hunter the big black lab came first and Mabel came second. Hunter went on to win another game and Mabel came second in the leave the piece of ham on the floor game. All in all a great hour of laughter and fun.

Oh that sounds like great fun..and very well done Mabel. You've obviously worked hard with the training while she hasn't been able to attend class, so well done you too Claire.

Thank you @edzbird although we are facing many challenges with her "new leg" as she has now realised she can run and run and jump through the air. Heart in mouth moments this morning which resulted in Mabel being recalled away from playing with a 7 month old lab who in the normal gorgeous labishness way was very bouncy :tail: and more than willing to join in with any silliness

    Lovely to hear this.
A long road, but one that has probably made you closer to Mabel, I bet you have an even stronger bond now.
