    Hi Julian,

Mushers Paw Wax is a popular choice among our forum members :)

It's not something our Labs have ever needed, but it's not uncommon as far as i've seen online.

If you're worried though, there is no harm in having a quick chat with your vet in case there is something they can recommend.

Let us know how he gets along!

I ordered the mushers and will give it s try ,I never did it with any of my labs before either but when I took him to the groomer a few years ago they moisturized his pads so I figured I would give it a try

I've heard good stuff about mushers, and also Bio-Balm. We personally use Bag Balm (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bag_Balm) its great, and been around forever. And also lasts a REALLY long time. Wetting the dogs paws first and then patting them dry a bit first before rubbing the balm on is the key. You can buy it online but unlike most other paw balms humans can use it to so you can buy it in CVS like we do or other local stores. It's also great for your hands!
