Day three. She is a doll. Only one accident in house. Sleeping about 4 hours straight. Finding out what has not been puppy proofed (lol). Eating well. Doing the apt thing is not bad (carrying her outside), she is 16 pounds so when she gets bigger carrying will be tough. She actually watches TV and barks at it.
She slept all night. What a joy. She is a bit nippy. No accidents in days. I'll get the pic thing once I can focus on it.
How exciting for you - great that Violet slept all night - fingers crossed this is a sign of things to come for you. My boy Bailey sends licks to Violet x
She is now sleeping all night. Eating well. 1.3 cups three times a day. Very few accidents in house. I'm takin her out at all the right times. She now sits on command. Knows her name. Still very nippy. Need to work on that. Overall a very good pup. Had the first visit to Petgoods. She made a splash. 2 more weeks to second round of shots.
Oh she sounds lovely. Don't expect too much about the nipping for a little while, it generally takes several weeks for it to stop.
Ok. It's been a bit nutty around here lately. But Violet is a little horse. She is 30 pounds now she is 14 weeks old. I would love to post some pics if I can nail the process. Still not sure how to do.
Have a look in the technical section for a "how to" uploading photos from a hosting site such as flikr or photobucket. http://thelabradorforum.com/threads/posting-a-photo-from-flickr-update.10872/ If you are a forum supporter you can upload directly from your computer. Looking forward to pup photos, she looks gorgeous from your avatar, mum is beautiful though
I figured it out, this was taken about a week ago. Monday she goes for final round of shots and then I can walk her around. Cant wait.
Thanks all. She is a handful, more than our last two. But we are in an apt now and that might be the biggest difference. Pretty much house trained. Now the rest of the training.
Just got back from the vet, she got her 3rd round of shots. Violet weighed in at 39.5 pounds. She a little moose.
thanks all. It's nice to be able to get her in the dog pen now that she has her shots. Let's her run more. She is 99% house broken. She barks at me when she wants to go out. Teething like crazy now, I feel bad for her.
